My mom started to do an annual camp-out with all the grandkids. Jack missed it last year so he was so excited to sleep in the tent this year!

The whole family got together for dinner. We dutch ovened ribs and cheesy potatoes. Then we cooked rolls over the fire.
The food was delicious!

Then we made homemade ice cream.
It was E's bday so we all sang and Ethan got to invite a friend. Not that Josh isn't a part of the family :)
Then because the next day was pioneer day, my mom insisted on telling pioneer stories.

Then we cooked popcorn over the fire.
And turned a movie on outside. Charlie even joined in on the fun.
Soon he fell asleep under the stars and dad put him to bed.
I was the lucky one to sleep in the tent with my mom and all the kids. Everyone was super tired by this point so there were some tears.
But we made everyone happy by telling ghost stories and having snoring contests.
It was so fun mom, the kids can't wait till next year!7/23/10
