There is nothing better in the Summer than all the fresh fruit! We had tons of apricots on our tree this year. We had a good time to get together as a family working together. With the family as large as it has grown, it doesn't take us too long anymore to pick the whole tree. And they were so yummy!!!

Family Night
There is nothing better in the Summer than all the fresh fruit! We had tons of apricots on our tree this year. We had a good time to get together as a family working together. With the family as large as it has grown, it doesn't take us too long anymore to pick the whole tree. And they were so yummy!!!
Nelson's Grove

I love this park!
We heard about this park and had to go! It was more than we ever expected. It had everything, a park, duck pond, fountains, and beautiful gardens. The kids loved it! Yes, this was the second time I let Jack run around in a diaper in public, because I didn't think we would need a swimsuit. There is nothing better than a diaper filled with water! Jack loved the ducks, when we started to walk away from them, he turned and ran right back to them. He is starting to get really fast and loves to run! We couldn't believe that this park was in Orem and we had never been! It is definately a hidden treasure!
......and by the way it is free!

little fishy
So this summer we have defintely taken advantage of Aunt Ally's pool. The first time we went Jack wasn't a big fan, he cried most of the time. So when we went again I was so surprised by how much Jack loved it! He is a nut! He was mad at me for making him wear a life jacket. He likes to be a free little man.

4th of JULY
So this year we had a great 4th of July. I was so excited to get up super early because I knew Jack would love the balloons. He had so much fun. We got up close to one and the fire came on and scared him, so the rest of the time he kept saying hot every time he saw a balloon. Then we headed of for the big parade! Grandpa Skip has a tradition of making a big breakfast at the parade, the blueberry pancakes were awesome! They also bring down a big truck for all the kids to sit above everyone. I love this tradition! I think we had a group of around 100 people this year. My favorite part of the parade is the jets that come at the very beginning. It was great to visit with the Shippen family. Then we headed off to Luke's parents. We had tons of good food, went swimming, and played lots of badminton. Luke and I had a very good day playing badminton and went undefeated. It was alot of fun. Then we went to Summer's house and had more food and then watched the neighborhood fireworks. We had a long day but it was alot of fun to be able to spend the 4th with family!

Boys will be boys!
From his cute little baseball gear (thanks Gma & Gpa P,
to his first real golf club (I don't know what his dad was thinking)
to trying so hard to be part of the bigger boys and play video games,
to wanting to be just like his Grandpas.
He is ALL boy. He always has a ball in his hand and if it isn't a ball he still thinks it is and throws it. He is always running around like crazy and climbing on EVERYTHING! He has become quite the little dare devil! He keeps me busy all day running around cleaning up after him, but I love it! I wouldn't change a thing. I also love having a sweet little boy that loves his mama! He is always willing to give sweet kisses and hug (especially if he is in trouble). I love getting some taste of what it is like to be a boy!
Trouble
Play date with mom
I love the stage Jack is in right now. We have so much fun together! I feel like we get to do stuff together instead of me just dragging him along. He is my little buddy!
