I came downstairs one day to find Jack taking a bath in the sink. All the way naked, soap and all.

Jack & Jane

We had a lovely visitor the day after Easter. Jane was in town and they made some time to squeeze us in their busy vacation. We were so glad we could see them and our grateful that they took the time to come see our new house (we know it is crazy and time is limited when you are visiting family!). It is crazy to me looking at this picture of the two of them-they are so grown up.
It was good to see you too Brad & Mandy!

Peterson Easter egg hunt

Easter Sunday

The Easter bunny came and the boys were excited to wake up that morning to find them. We were in bed when Jack woke up and we listened as he went downstairs and then he started yelling to us that the Easter Bunny came. He was so excited.

The bunny left Jack a bug vacuum and legos and some treats.

Char got some books, bubbles and treats.

You gotta love their hair in the mornings!

I love when Char peers over to see something.

Then we got ready for church. I love these handsome boys. I was so excited to take a picture of both of them standing up.

We got to go to my parent's ward and listen to my dad give a wonderful talk on the real meaning of Easter. It was a great reminder and celebration of the resurrection.

easter egg hunt

We hosted the annual Cole family Easter egg hunt at our house this year. It is so nice to be able to have a yard to do things like this. We had a great time. We had a nice lunch and then we hid the candy and got the kids all ready to go.

Charlie got to go out first and get a head start.

The rest of the kids got ready to go and Charlie started to realize how cool Easter egg hunts were.

There was so much candy!! All of the kids ended up with FULL baskets.
