football

We went and dropped by the Utes first spring practice one night. It was so nice to get outside and Luke was so glad to have a little college football back in his life.

sunny days

Just looking at my boys sometimes brings tears to my eyes. I love them so much.
He is pretty darn sweet.

st patty's day

This year I decided that it was time to get into the st patty's day spirit. I have never really done much but it was so fun to be a little festive.

the boys in their green- doesn't Jack have sweet hair?!!

it all started when I was looking through my family cookbook and saw this rainbow jello. I knew Jack would love it!
I was going to get brave and try corned beef but it was too last minute so I settled with shepherd's pie. I thought it was delicious Luke not so much (he is not a fan of potatoes). We also had Irish soda bread, the rainbow jello, green drink & shamrock cookies.

Then Jack spotted the money trail left by the leprechaun.

He followed it up the stairs and inot his bedroom.

It lead him all the way to under his bed where he found the "pot of gold".

The next day Jack said that the leprechaun left me a surprise...a money trail to a cookie! I love how creative he is.

picnic

We had semi-nice weather one day so we decided it was time for a picnic. Jack was so excited, but for him this had to be a legit picnic. He said we needed sandwiches, a picnic basket & a blanket (so the bugs didn't eat our food) .

We went to our new park- the closest one to our house. We had a great lunch.

Then we played. Jack loved the yellow slide.

Charlie loved to sit on the blanket and cheer for brother.

Is there anything sweeter than a brother getting SO excited while watching his older brother?

char's party

So Jack's party was on Saturday and then we had Charlie's party on Monday. Crazy. We also were waiting for our floors to arrive so that they could be installed. Monday we woke up and took Luke to work and then I headed up to Pottery Barn to get Charlie his present. After I got all the way to Pottery Barn I got a call from our floor guy saying that the installers were on their way right then to come put in our floors. So I turned around without stopping to get his present and headed home. We got home and they started installing our floors. We had a crew of guys in our house all day installing the floors and our house was a disaster- our fridge was in the middle of our family room. I had to finish all the party prep and food all while this is going on. The floors got done a half hour before our family was to arrive and we managed to pull it off- barely. Poor Charlie though, he was so tired because he couldn't take a nap because of all of the loud noise. It was crazy.
Our little gnome friends.

Char and baby Haven
We had pizza and then dessert

Haylee was the only one that could get him to smile.

Summer's family gave him this cute radio flyer. We had a great time with family. Hopefully Charlie did too! One of these years hopefully his party won't be so crazy, but with Jack's birthday a couple days before I don't know if that will ever happen! We love love love our Charlie!
