Christmas morning (part 2)

We we then headed over to my house. We had a brunch of the traditional homemade cinnamon rolls. We had lots of fun watching the kids open gifts. Jack was spoiled again, with movies, cars stuff, and a tricycle that we are very excited about. We didn't open it because we wanted it in the box to get it back home.
The rest of the day we spent with family. We went up to my Aunt Luanne's for a wonderful roast beef dinner. We played games and had a lot of fun with my cousins. On the way home Luke could of really used his Christmas gift from my dad, his GPS, it was really snowy and somehow we got turned around and lost in Sandy. (since we got the GPS set up we have not ever been lost since!)
It was a wonderful Christmas!

More Cars stuff!
The babies getting Ethan.
Avery was our expert present opener. She took her job very seriously too!

Christmas morning (part 1)

Christmas morning we spent with Luke's family. We had a lot of fun opening up gifts and eating the traditional bran muffins (so yummy)!
Luke got Jack a Utes jersey. I think Luke enjoyed this gift more than Jack did, but it is pretty cute.
Jack got the whole Broncos uniform. He loved the helmet. It was like a little Luke running around.
He even got more cars stuff from Bree, duffel bag, sleeping bag, and a mac truck with some more cars. Jack never gets sick of Cars stuff. As you can see Jack was extremely spoiled. He got enough from Grandma & Grandpa for 5 kids. He had so much fun. He was a little overwhelmed but he slowly would start playing with each new toy and loved all of them!
Luke & I really got spoiled too! Having my own laptop has been great! We were so grateful for all the fun things we were given. But most of all we were so grateful to be spending Christmas with our families!

Santa came.......

Jack was a very good boy this year and Santa brought him some fun toys. He finally got his cars he has been dying to play with. (not that he doesn't have a ton of other cars but these are the Larger Nicer cars :) ) He didn't care about anything else after he started playing with his cars. He started changing McQueen's tires, and towing cars with Mater. I love watching him play so intently with his cars. He finally stopped playing long enought to open his stocking, he got bubbles, treats, and some other fun things. Oh and he even got a Cars hoodie. This Christmas definetely had a Cars theme! It was a good time watching him walk in and get so excited!

christmas eve (i know it was forever ago!)

Christmas Eve was a wonderful day. We woke up and headed down to the mall to finally get a picture of Jack on Santa's lap. We waited in line and Jack was excited as he watched all the other kids sit on his lap, but of course once we got up to Santa he didn't want to sit on his lap. Oh well, so we had to make it a family picture. He was very excited when Santa gave him a treat though.

The rest of the day was filled with baking (I made about 9 dozen rolls, my specialty after Thanksgiving), shopping(Luke had to start sometime), pedicures with Summer and Haylee (lots of laughs at the chinese lady that pretended to not understand as she was choosing awful colors for Haylee), and getting ready for Santa to come. We started out the night with an early dinner at my house. Grandma & Grandpa came and we had a lovely dinner. We then opened pajamas and watched the Nativity.

Jack loved his car slippers.

He scoots around and says vroom vroom as he walks around. He loves his cars!
Avery liked Jack's jammies more than hers and kept trying to put them on.
Jack had lots of fun with his cousins! He loves them so much.
Grandma & Grandpa gave Jack a bear with an outfit. Jack thought it was very strange to put clothes on his bear.

We then headed over to Luke's house for a late dinner. We had lots of yummy food that night! We ate, played games, and enjoyed the rest of the evening. Before Jack went to bed me, Luke and Jack read the Christmas story together. It was nice to be able to teach Jack what Christmas is really all about. We put Jack to bed and got ready for Santa to come...
Jack admired all the presents, Gma & Gpa P really out did themselves this year!
I love the little bum flap on his jammies.Grandpa & Jack read lots of Christmas books.

Temple Square

Posted by Picasa

We were able to go with my family up to temple square before Christmas to see the lights. This is always one of our favorite traditions to do as a family. It was beautiful as usual and it was nice to spend a day focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. It was cold but we all bundled up and enjoyed ourselves.

Christmas Sunday

Well I decided I better start posting because I am already way behind. We have had a great time in Utah spending time with our families for the holidays.

My mother always buys the kids Christmas church outfits. I thought Jack looked pretty handsome!

Aren't we cute!
All the kids in their outfits.
This is how fun it was to get the group shot!
