christmas eve (i know it was forever ago!)

Christmas Eve was a wonderful day. We woke up and headed down to the mall to finally get a picture of Jack on Santa's lap. We waited in line and Jack was excited as he watched all the other kids sit on his lap, but of course once we got up to Santa he didn't want to sit on his lap. Oh well, so we had to make it a family picture. He was very excited when Santa gave him a treat though.

The rest of the day was filled with baking (I made about 9 dozen rolls, my specialty after Thanksgiving), shopping(Luke had to start sometime), pedicures with Summer and Haylee (lots of laughs at the chinese lady that pretended to not understand as she was choosing awful colors for Haylee), and getting ready for Santa to come. We started out the night with an early dinner at my house. Grandma & Grandpa came and we had a lovely dinner. We then opened pajamas and watched the Nativity.

Jack loved his car slippers.

He scoots around and says vroom vroom as he walks around. He loves his cars!
Avery liked Jack's jammies more than hers and kept trying to put them on.
Jack had lots of fun with his cousins! He loves them so much.
Grandma & Grandpa gave Jack a bear with an outfit. Jack thought it was very strange to put clothes on his bear.

We then headed over to Luke's house for a late dinner. We had lots of yummy food that night! We ate, played games, and enjoyed the rest of the evening. Before Jack went to bed me, Luke and Jack read the Christmas story together. It was nice to be able to teach Jack what Christmas is really all about. We put Jack to bed and got ready for Santa to come...
Jack admired all the presents, Gma & Gpa P really out did themselves this year!
I love the little bum flap on his jammies.Grandpa & Jack read lots of Christmas books.
