Check out my new do!

So ever since I told Luke I had a haircut coming up, he has been trying to convince me to chop all of my hair off. I never get my hair to grow out for very long, because either I get sick of it or Luke convinces me to cut it. So of course I chopped it all off again! I really like it but it feels weird to not have any hair. I had been growing it out for quite awhile. I think that Luke relates my short hair to the days when we were first dating (the short short days when I was super skinny and tan!) If I can't get the rest of that, the least I can do is have cute hair!

BBQs BBQs and more BBQs

So every holiday we go from house to house to BBQs. We definetley are not complaining because we get lots of good food. We are really going to miss this when we are in Kansas. At Luke's house our new thing is to play badmitton. (Let me tell you, me and Luke are a pretty good team if any of you are up to the challenge.)
We really needed to give Grandma Jill her first appearance on the blog! I have been looking for a picture to post, so I made them pose for the camera!
Then of course after Luke's house we went to mine. We had a great BBQ with our extended family.

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Ethan turned the big 7 on Monday! We all went to Jack and Jills bowling!
Jack was of course smiling! We don't know where he got all his smiles from!
This was my one and only strike, of course it happened when everyone turned around and wasn't watching. (And I promised I didn't use the bumpers that they put up for me)
This was Ethan's cute cake that Summer made for him. She makes all diferent kinds for all of their birthdays, and yes she already promised me she will fly to Kansas and make Jack's for his first birthday!
The whole family! My mom said that this would work for our family picture, since we haven't had one taken since 1994.

4 Years Down!

On July 18, 2007 it was our Fourth Wedding Anniversary! I can't believe it has already been 4 years, we are getting so old! Looking back brings back lots of memories and we are pretty proud of all we have accomplished. We have graduated from college, bought our first house, and had the most beautiful baby boy! I couldn't ask for more! We are definetely looking forward to the next four years!

Family Time

I am a little behind, but a couple of weeks ago we went to Heberfor the weekend with my family. We stayed at the Zermatt in a three bedroom condo! It was so nice. We had a relaxing weekend but it was also full of fun acivities,
They had a giant chess set outside.
We went to their seafood buffett, it was yum yum!

The had an indoor/ outdoor pool that was so
much fun!

Family Time part 2

We went on carousel rides,
walks to get gelato,
rode the ski lift in Park City,
and went on the alpine slide
and the new alpine coaster! We had such a good time, we didn't want to go home.

Fourth of July Part 2

After the paradewe went and had a BBQ and went swimming at Luke's parents.

Later that night we went and had another BBQ, and watched the fireworks.
Jack couldn't keep his eyes off the fireworks. He held his pacifier in tight, he was a little nervous.
Jack made it about half way through the fireworks before he fell asleep. It was a very busy day so we were glad when we got home. We move on August 4th so we only have one month to go!

Fourth of July

We had a great Fourth of July! We started out going to the parade! We go with all the family and it has been a tradition that Grandpa Skip brings down the grill and makes everyone pancakes! It is fun to be able to spend the day with our family.

Jack Update

So since Jack does something new almost every week we always have alot to write about! The first thing he did this week is he finally found his toes! Whenever he is on his back he loves to hold his toes, he even got his big toe up to his mouth one time and sucked on it! Then on Sunday we tried to give him rice cereal for the first time. As you can see it did not go very well! He seemed to not really like the taste. He did do some pretty cute faces though. I am sure its because he keeps getting snuck little tastes of good food like watermelon and a little chocolate every now and again. So I guess I wouldn't like rice cereal either. We will have to just keep trying!

Date Night

On Thursday, me and Luke left Jack for our first night out without him, while we went to the Kenny Chesney concert! I gave Luke the tickets for Father's Day. We had never been to a country concert before, so I thought Luke would have fun listening to some of his favorites like, "No shoes, no shirt, no problem" and "You think my tractor's sexy"!

We had alot of fun, but before the concert was even over we left so we could beat the traffic and get back home to Jack!
