every boy is a superhero sometimes........

Jack is obsessed with all things superheroes lately. We had a blast planning his party! The details: the food table

the layered jellos (thanks to my wonderful sister for staying up all night to make them!)

the balloons (luke's parents offered to go grab some- didn't they choose the perfect bunch to go with the party! It was so nice!)

My awesome friend came up with the idea to do these cookies with Jack's picture on them. She is SO fabulous (she also saved the day for me and made the cake too!)

The party:

The party turned out great! It was one crazy week, moving into our house and trying to put together Jack and Charlie's parties but it came together (thanks to all the help from the family!) I love throwing a good party and seeing how excited Jack gets with all the little details. I love my little super hero!!!!

Luke's parent's came up with the fun idea to take the boys to Pirate's island. We had a great time! pirate faces

Jack making us laugh. The pirates came out to sing Jack happy Birthday and he just laughed the entire time. They sing really loud and he thought it was hilarious. It was hilarious watching him.

Then we went and played on the pirates ship and played arcade games.

We had a great time!! Thanks gma & gpa!

jack's #4 birthday part1

Jack's animals got all dressed up for his birthday and had a parade. Including a few new ones.

We decorated the playroom for him,

He loved it and loved finding the new animals in the parade.

Jack then had school and then we had playgroup so we went to McDonalds for lunch. Gma Kathy came and joined us.

Charlie loved the ice cream and then threw another fit over not getting food.

Then the boys and I went to the mall and Jack chose out a Batman shirt with a cape attached. When dad got home we went to dinner and then went bowling. This is the first time Jack has really been where he can bowl by himself. He loved it.

Then Jack requested brownies and icecream for his bday treat. So we came home and sang and blew out candles. We had a great day celebrating Jack!

baby haven

This is out of order but I had to track down an picture. On March 2nd we were so excited that Baby Haven finally arrived! She is the first cousin on the Peterson side so my boys were super excited to see her! The boys and I arrived at the hospital a few minutes after she was born so we felt pretty lucky to be one of the only ones to see and hold her before she had to spend the next few days in the NICU. She is so sweet and tiny and we love having her in our family!
