SO fun!

So Thursday night, Jill and Neils arrived in Lawrence to spend Jack's birthday with us. We have had such a fun weekend showing them around town. We have had tons of good food and had lots of fun shopping too :) Jack has really enjoyed playing with them in his house and won't know what to do when they leave! They definetely spoiled us and made Jack's 1st birthday extra special. We were so glad they could come stay with us! Thanks for the fun weekend! Me and Jack are flying back to Utah with them so we will get to see them a little longer!

Valentines day started off great when Luke surprised me and skipped class to bring me roses (and anyone that know Luke knows he really must love me to skip class, he knew this would be the only time for him to have the car without me around).
It was great for me to be able to have two Valentines this year! At this time last year I was about ready to pop, and we couldn't wait for Jack to come! Now I have a one year old to give Valentine's kisses to.
Later that day we got together with some friends and made chocolate covered strawberries for Luke. As you can tell the kids loved it. (This is Jack's favorite friend Jane)
When dad got home we got the mail and Jack loved getting cards from the Grandmas and Grandpas. (Thanks for the mail, it is always nice to get something other than bills in the mail, especially when the mail buys us a nice dinner and Valentine treats :)) That night I made a nice steak dinner for me and Luke and we were determined to not eat until Jack was in bed so we could eat without interruptions. So we didn't end up eating until 9:30 but it was worth it to be able to eat and watch Lost with just Luke! Me and Jack also made Valentines for our families, which we still haven't sent so watch for you after valentines cards :)

I'm a big boy now!

or atleast he thinks he is.... so I don't know why this picture is turned but as you can see he can stand up without holding anything all by himself! He is so so close to walking! It will be any day now, we can't wait! He thinks he is so big!
So this is the best $2 find! A big ball. We were at Target and Jack of course noticed the big bin of balls and fell in love! He loves playing with Dad and the ball.
This is one of my loves right now......... big beautiful blues eyes and a yummy smile!
