My dad held his 2nd annual "freedom dinner" on July 10th. It is his way of remembering our freedoms and reflecting on those that have fought for our freedoms each year. He invites different people that have fought for us to come speak and share their experiences and this year he asked them to talk about what Americans have inspired them. It was a great night eating great food and reflecting on these things.

This is Bro Wood from my home ward. He is a general in the army and has been deployed twice in this war. He is very inspiring.

My wonderful parents.

Steve Studdert also came and spoke to us. He has worked under a few President of the United States administrations including Pres Reagan. He was close friends with President Reagan and has had some incredible experiences. I could listen to him talk for hours. He is also the one that took the group that my sister went with to Haiti.

My dad works with this man at the temple, he flew a fighter jet in WWII.

The Sneddons- their dad had to work but he just came back from Afghanistan.

It was a great night that will always be remembered. I am thankful for my dad for putting this on so that we could remember all that we have to be thankful for!
