When we arrived in Utah my mom showed me this cute advent calendar she got for Jack. It looks like a Christmas village and it has little doors that she filled with little treats for him to open each day. The next morning we woke up to this....
We hadn't even told Jack about the houses but he got up early the next morning and went down by himself and found them. He opened every door and took out all the candy. He then unwrapped most of them and had them all lined up. we thought it was pretty funny and clever. The funny thing is that is really does just look like a village, who knows how he found out it was full of candy. I guess I have trained him well to find candy anywhere.
My mom took the kids to see the Princess and the Frog. The kids loved it, it was a cute movie.
We spent hours making homeade gingerbread houses and finally got around to decorating them. Well the boys watched football and the girls and Jack had our fun.
We made Jack and Avery their own house and let them go to town, they had a good time.
They were pretty proud of their house.
This was Haylee's half finished house, our construction skills didnt work so well with her house. We couldn't get one side of the house to stay up. She was a good sport though and her house turned out cute.
Christmas Sunday the kids all got dresses up in their Christmas outfits that Gma Kathy bought for them. They looked so cute...
