Christmas Eve was a busy day of taking Jack to see Santa, finishing up last minute errands, and lots of baking.
Of course we had to make cookies for Santa, I am sure he love his chocolate surprise cookies!

Then that night we spent at my house eating a lovely dinner. We then went and read the nativit story and put on a puppet show.

A lady in my sisters ward made these puppets and stage for the nativity. It was darling. I think we did pretty well for not practicing but hopefully we can have them next year too so we can improve on our skills.

The kids loved it.

Then we did things a little bit different this year, we decided to open the majority of our presents from my family that night. We had a good time. We all got spoiled. Jack loved his Toy Story army men Grandpa gave him. He immediately had to open them and line them up.

After everyone went home we got ready to go to bed and got ready for Santa to come. Dad helped Jack put out cookies & juice for Santa and an apple for the reindeer. We wrote Santa a letter and then sent Jack to bed.

This is how Jack fell asleep, with a handful of toys that he opened that night. I am pretty sure he loved all his gifts!
